In 2018 the Hebrew Department of the National University of Leiden, The Netherlands, offered me a position as a Hebrew teacher, which I have accepted.
Three days before actually starting teaching I got an email in which the agreement was canceled. The reason given was that my future students have found my art-blog online (a site in a forsaken corner of the internet).
The conclusion of the faculty was, that regarding the unsettling nature of me expressing sexual “thoughts”, I am unfitted to teach/be in contact with the (very) young students.
